Firhouse (Irish: Teach Giúise) is a small outer suburb of Dublin, in South Dublin County, developed from what was historically a rural village. It is located just south of the River Dodder, and is in the postal district of Dublin 24. Firhouse is adjacent to Knocklyon, Templeogue and the Tallaght area.There is a community centre, Firhouse Community and Sports Complex, home to various sporting teams, and the local Scout Den, as well as a youth club. Other nearby amenities include: a supermarket, Firhouse Credit Union, a post office and local pubs.
