This short course introduces participants to the latest trends and developments in environmental education. It equips participants with the knowledge, skills and competence to integrate Environmental Education into their practice within formal and non-formal education settings.
By the end of the training participants will:
•Understand what environmental education is
•Know how environmental education complements teaching as well as engaging the wider public in environmental issues
•Understand how environmental education complements youth work
•Be able to apply environmental education in theory and in practice
•Be aware of the latest trends and developments in environmental education and education for sustainable development
