A well tasty meal on the way home from the train station. Stays open late and the staff are welcoming.

I just got the seafood chowder here and it was delicious. At a glance many of the prices seemed better than supermarkets and the the fish was probably fresher.

I had a good experience with these guys. On ringing up I was given a full quote and a breakdown for the work. They arrived on time and got the job done (fitting a new circuit board in the boiler).

The atmosphere of the bookstore makes this a very pleasant cafe away from the hustle and bustle. I haven't tried the food but the coffee was good. Eircom wifi is available apparently.

Even though getting a seat here can be a pain in the neck when it's busy, I say 5 stars anyway for the quality of the food. It's a self service set up so you get to eye up all the dishes before ordering. It always looks and tastes great, and is filling without being stodgy. This must be one of th...

Great spot to get a seat with a view over the Green, and the coffee was excellent. I haven't tried the food yet.

A group of us were here for dinner recently and everyone was impressed with the food, service and the modern interior. They must have ironed out any teething problems with waiting times since they opened. The food is very good quality. My only gripe was the lack of vegetables in the main course b...

Very impressive building, and in keeping with its spectacular setting. If weather dictates that there's "no boat to the island today", the Centre will still give a good feel for life on the Blasket Islands. "For the likes of them will never be again", and such. If you do pick up Maurice O'Sulliva...

The park makes a great route for a run at lunch time, if you're so inclined. It's nice and flat and within range of a lot of offices. I left one star off due to the odd pothole in the paths, but hey this is a park and not a shopping mall!

I thought the cut here was better than both the Grafton Barber and the Merchant Barber in my experience. €16 for a dry cut was very good value compared to paying the same for shoddy work elsewhere.

You will find excellent food in this trendy Suburban Cafe, however the dining area is claustraphobic and could be improved by removing some of the tiny tables.

A good honest bar this with a no frills atmosphere. The mosaic floor and old panelling give it a good character but I thought they could have more seating. This is a nice bar - it's clean, well trimmed out and had good Cuban-style music. I'm only giving it 2 stars because we went in mainly for a bite to eat and the food wasn't that great. Also I asked for a glass of red and it was on the small side and cost nearly 7 euro (I hadn't asked for a specif...

Although a member, I never see as many films here as I mean to. So many quality films are shown here it's hard to keep track. 5 stars for their lunch. I really like how they've done this place up, opening up the space between the bar and stage areas. A cushy carpet, quite a bit of seating (which makes a change for the city centre) and a good sized dance floor. The bar staff were on the ball and the pints of Carlsberg were crisp. Great mountain setting, tasty grub and sing along hand clapping live music (that might be an invitation or a warning, depending on your taste).
