I went for a drink here recently and was not impressed at all. There was a lot of staff and not too many customers but there wasn't any effort made to serve us. But what was worst of all was the horrible smell wafting through the corridors - like stale boiled cabbage. The kind of smell Id ass...

Good little shop. I haven't tried the coffee corner but I intend to when the weather is better.
All things being equal its important to suppoert our independent book sellers. Incidently the last book I bought there was a euro cheaper than in Waterstones/Dubrays. It was only a modern work o...

For what Howard's offers it is superb. Free wine and 2 courses for about 25 Euro ( I might be a bit wrong on the price). It doesn't pretend to be anything other than great value for money which is why it is always booked out at the weekend.

I love it and I highly recommend it for those night...

Typical Italian joint. It has undergone a refurb recently and looks fantastic. But on my recent visit there I found that the staff were not nearly as attentive as before. It was a Wednesday night and not overly busy yet we were left with our used plates in front of us for almost 30 minutes. S...

Always reliable and if you can make it for the early bird menu you will do really well.

Was there recently for the jazz night and it was very entertaining.

The head man (not the owner) needs to get a more user friendly. The rest of the staff are lovely.

I went here a number of years ago on a Monday night. I was forewaned that the food would be buffet style as Monday was the chef's night off. That was OK with me.

On arrival we were shown the buffet which consisted of 3 hot dishes on a bain marie or similar. No explanation or description o...

Yes. Top marks for this busy salon. Friendly and efficient staff who know when to chat and when not to! I've never had to spend more than 5 minutes waiting around. Nice coffee too.

I'm only giving this place a star because I can't submit the review without one.
