The hubby and I went back to this lovely little restaurant a couple of years after our first visit. We had tickets to a play so just fancied a quick bite to eat. The place was packed but the staff were on their toes and very personable. The food is honest, no airs and graces about it. Deliciou...

The food is superb and the combinations rather inventive. Service was good, not OTT although the waiter forgot to top up our glasses a few times and the wine was left in the chiller. No value for money whatsoever but all in all a memorable experience. Glad I went.

I'd say this place crashed and burned when they let the Italian staff go. Coffee used to be quite something but those days are gone. The downstairs restaurant ain't all that bad with their pizza securing second place in my list.

Very cosy, lovely staff. Coffee is OK. Handy for a quick caffeine fix early in the morning.

2 stars because I was hungry on the night and they say hunger is the best sauce. The decision to go there was dictated by proximity to the O2. I doubt I'll be going back. It's the kind of place that undoubtedly did well at the heigth of the boom: very flash and your face. Not now. People wan...

Excellent food, I'll give you that. Their cured meats (prosciutto, mortadella and so on) are delicious but they should consider lowering their prices (recession, anyone?). Their coffee has been consistently disappointing, same goes for the cappuccino (even when made by an Italian member of staf...

My rating is purely based on the fact that I contacted them about having my wedding reception there and they never got back to me. Now, that's rude if you ask me...

I think this establishment has since closed down. Shame because I loved going there. Whether you wanted just coffee and cake or a hearty meal, that was the place to go. Very pricey though, hence more of a treat. The atmosphere was deliciously decadent and their strawberry tartlets utterly sin...

Their food is quite dear but their coffee is the best in Dublin (after my husband's) and their cappuccino is second to none. The place does get a bit cramped, not the most comfortable of settings but the friendly staff make up for it.

The coffee is only as good as the coffee maker. I sometimes don't bother ordering it if my two favourite baristas are not on. Excellent selection of pastries, lovely setting but quite pricey. Their breads are scrumptious. Great for a treat in the morning time or after work.

Fresh, gorgeous, glorious food. Good vegetarian selection. I'd eat here every day if I could. The staff are alert and on the ball. The restaurant is bright and airy, excellent location. Saien Soba till I die!

Il Corvo Restaurant

It's amazing what passes for Italian. The owner is Middle-Eastern. The espresso resembled gravy. The side salad was merely iceberg lettuce. The menu was packed with spelling mistakes (if you can't spell it, how can you cook it?). Thumb down.

The food was merely edible. Service was OK considering it was the weekend.

These four stars only go to the food, take away pizza to be precise, which is superb. The service has gone down the pipe in the last two years, the food is realy thrown together.
