Along with the LUAS this just shows that some things are done well in this city. Could be better with more bikes, or just more bike repositioning runs to distribute them more evenly at certain times. Or maybe that's always a problem that just gets exagerated with scale. Best value tenner you'll s...
read moreCan find no faults with this place. They're great for having your details on file from previous visits to other Blacktie stores so it makes the whole process easy. A quick measurement of girth and length to check for yearly creep and I was all done. The guy was friendly but to the point - everyth...
read moreOnly a 3 in my opinion. The food was perfectly fine, but it came in small portions which is obviously the trade-off that they have made to reduce the prices (as the prices are not bad). Not the right decision in my opinion. Our waitress was a bit strange too - she was trying to be friendly and ca...
read moreYep - it's a definite goer! The food and prices are pretty good for this area. The menu isn't too extensive which I think usually means that they do what they do well. And they do. Friendly staff and some Japanese eating in the place, another good sign. An appreciated new lunch place.
read moreHave to say I thought it was grand. Can't see many of the trendy kids heading here, but the coffee's good and the food looks good (didn't have any). Friendly, smiley staff too. Simples.
read moreI'm not a hardward-shop-going type of person but this place might make me one. Had reason to get something 'hardwareish' recently when I as in the city and this was the only place I knew about, so I tried it out. The owner/manager/till guy was more than helpful with suggestions and kept asking me...
read moreFast, friendly....and unlike PC world, there's a high possibility they will have what you want! Decent location (from my office!) for picking something up if you need a new printer or paper or an external HDD. Lots of little bits and pieces and well layed out...
read moreHave to agree with Grace. The one I got was hard as rock(ets). Flavour was OK but again nothing too impressive. I like the malts in Eddie Rockets but this wasn't even in the same league. Which is weird.
read moreI availed of the mother's day offer from Dee and collected on the day. It was a great price and the flowers were absolutely spot on for the job that needed to be done! Ordering online was easy, collection was simple and their attitude was friendly but business like. I like that. No messing around.
read moreI'll bring a bit of a reality check to this. This is a 3 star cafe, 5 star is waaaay overstating it's place in the pecking order. The coffee's decent, the food's grand and the place is...well...grand aswell. Nothing extraordinary in my opinion.
read moreFriendly, old-school style barbers shop. Chatty, so not the place to go if you are the quiet harcutting type. Not a bad price, €15 for a dry cut - probably about average at this stage....
read moreDecent coffee. When i asked for it though, he just rang it up on the till straight away before I could order anything else. So I didn't. Food might be good, I have no idea. Handy while waiting for your NCT next door.
read moreHad reason to visit this little shop on the Crescent in Monkstown. The owner's knowledge on everything shooting is very good and he's actually interested in what you want to get/do and how he can help with advice etc., which makes a big difference when you're not really sure what you're talking a...
read moreI went here on Saturday for a late lunch. It's a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were all nice and friendly. The food and service were good too which made for a good spot to spend a few lazy hours. I had their fish and chips in beer batter with pee puree etc and it was fantastic. Coffee was dece...

read moreNot a new discovery for me but I've only recently started going regularly, so now's the time to write! I've never been here on an 'off' day. I've never been here on an off hour. The place is always packed, probably helped by the fact that it's tiny - there can only be seating for about 25 people ...
read moreWas in here recently with a RateMyArea voucher. The food was decent (tasty chicken wings to start and pizza for a main), the place was alive with people (we had to wait 10 mins for a table to come free) and the staff were friendly and accomodating. When it was time to pay the bill they had under-...
read moreSomeone brought me here to try it the other day for a lunch takeaway - and I have only one regret. I didn't get enough. They have a load of different panino that I assume are the usual types (parma, rocket, pesto, etc) but I got a slice of pizza instead as it looked so good. I spent most of my lu...
read moreWas in here on a Friday evening recently and have to say the food was good. I started with their famed spicey chicken wings, washed down by some nice German beers (which helped cool the furnace). Then I had a tasty tasty burger for my main. The staff were quick and friendly, and the prices were p...
read moreCheap, cheap sandwiches. Small shop packed with the usual newsie stuff, with the exception of cheap freshly made sandwiches. Not at the gourmet end of the scale, but for the price they can't be beat. Spar on Nassau Street give it a go, but their bottom line isn't in the same ball park. Well it is...
