The only downside to this gorgeous furniture shop is the fact that I can't afford to buy anything in it ;) Absolutely fab stuff from beds to tables to candles and everything in between. What I also really liked was the fact that the staff didn't bombard you with "can I help you's" so you can brow...

One of the more commercially minded galleries in town - good selection of Irish artists and helpful staff on hand should you have a question about any of the pieces.

Not somewhere you're going to fall across but it's a handy spot for a quick take-out lunch. Fairly standard sandwich and salad fare but they do have a fresh roast meat and pasta special everyday if you're looking for something a bit different. The girls at the cash register are also super friendly!
read moreThis place is a bit of a Dublin institution, hard to go wrong menu wise but it's definitely best known for its pizza slices which are delicious. It can be difficult to get a table but the good news is that they do take-out as well.
read moreFood just as delicious as the Fern Cafe without the hassle of having to go all the way to Wicklow! They've also done a lovely job on the inside, will definitely be back. Also don't miss the rotisserie chickens 'to go' on your way out!
read moreThis is definitely my favourite itsa. It's big and bright and the staff are really friendly. Usual selection of bagels, soup, salads, cakes, coffees but somehow it all seems more appealing in this place. A lot of effort has been put into the decor and seating and I think it really works.
read moreTiny but perfectly formed Italian restaurant a little off the beaten track but well worth tracking down. The pizzas are the pick of the lot, thin and crispy and delicious with a different pizza special every day. Fills up quickly at lunchtime so get there early.
read moreWhat a find this place is, you're guaranteed a seat, great food and fast service. There's also a good value all night early bird. For a taste of Japan go for the Bento Box - great value at €10 for the lunch portion which is very generous and plenty for a full size portion. Love it :)
read moreGreat food, service was brilliant - hard to fault this place!
read moreGreat lunch spot - both the deli and the restaurant/cafe downatairs. Good selection of sambos, salads, & hot food in the deli and huge portions in the restaurant but go early because it's small and very popular!

Just when it seems there couldn't be anymore room for a new restaurant in Ranelagh up pops Cinnamon and it seems it's already a favourite with queues out the door on a Sunday afternoon! If you don't like having to share your table then this isn't the place for you as there are a lot of large tabl...

read moreLovely spot for lunch, food is a bit different and vert tasty although portions are on the small side. I hear dinner is excellent also. Turns into a a standing room only pub on match days!
read moreYou can't beat the €20 mid-week menu for good value. Also has a nice buzz and the food has always been really tasty. Busy at weekends so definitely need to book.

read moreI was very excited to see that Mao was opening a take-away around the corner, dangerous or brilliant?! Quick, tasty asian-ish food with a similar menu to the restaurant. There are also a few seats if you want to eat in.

I only discovered this little italian cafe the other day and I definitely wasn't the first, the place was buzzing at lunchtime. It's mainly panini and antipasti plates on the menu and everything I saw and tasted looked delicious. Friendly italian staff to boot which is always adds to the authenti...
