Aldi is the best. As a previous reviewer said, it it just so cheap! I can get so many things for so little money! It can't be real! But it is. And they have pretty much everything I need to survive, and then some. Good cheese for en even better price, the best value mince around, and plenty of household supplies that clean just as well as the name brands. My only complaint is that it can be hit-or-miss sometimes, and I often have to go to Dunnes or Tesco in order to find a couple ingredients that they didn't have in stock.

But I forgive them, because their 90% dark chocolate bars for less than €2 are my favourite. Thankfully they include five individually-wrapped portions, so I have the time it takes to unwrap them to pause and to contemplate my poor life decisions and lack of self-control.

There are no words to describe how much I love this Aldi. I'd write poetry about its frozen foods section, I'd sing serenades to its veggie aisle, I'd inappropriately proposition its shelves of wonderfully cheap alcohol, I'd- ... I like it a lot, is what I'm saying.

I'd give it five stars if it was a bit bigger, but as it is it's great for the every-day basics. I find the Aldi-brand stuff is pretty much always on par with what you'd get at Dunnes or Tesco, and particular shout-outs go to its chocolate and cola, both of which have been proven to be nicer than the equivilents which cost three times as much in other stores by blind taste tests in my apartment (we have value down to a science, damn it!). The staff are generally very quick at opening new tills if the lines get too long, and for that alone I'd pick Aldi over the Lidl across the road any day of the week.
