Aussie tucker served in Dublin! The Aussie BBQ is a Australian-themed BBQ which serves high-quality Irish meat cooked over a charcoal grill. Everything's prepared fresh, even the chips are never frozen, and if you want to chill out and have a beer with your burger/chicken/snags, they have a restaurant section too.

If you know of any events happening at Aussie BBQ, please add them.

Where do you start with this place? The staff are all bang on, the decor and atmosphere is better every time I go back and the food is just unreal.

I've eaten here a number of times and as a place that is clearly still improving, it just keeps getting better. The burgers are all made to order and barbequed right in front of you, and the specialty items (pulled pork, Snag dawg) are delicious too. My favourite has to be the fries though, again hand prepped right in front of you and so addictive.

I was surprised by the Irish Times review, but perhaps not the right type of critic to be sent to a BBQ place that serves a 1lb burger (Great White). The bar does pitchers of Heineken for €9 (3 pints!!) and the menu is very well priced. Plus, they will be stocking aussie beers and Bundi rum in the near future according to one of the staff. I can see this place becoming very popular for sporting events and with regulars - get in and try the Meat Plate to get a feel for everything in one sitting, and defo order fries!

I've called in Aussie BBQ twice now and there's not enough good things to say about it. Its definitely the best burger place in Dublin. The Great White is an absolute gem of a burger, one of the best I've ever had. Two fresh half-pound burgers, bacon, cheese, lettuce and sauce - so tasty!

Its definitely going to become a regular from now on .Can't wait to go back!!

Nup wasn't flash - freshly prepared food is commendable but 30 mins to cook a few burgers isn't good - chicken burger was nice but chips weren't cooked and were swimming in oil.
Would try them out but not in the cold light of day.

After finishing in the gym, my mates and I headed into Aussie, (now a weekly tradition) I have had everything on the menu except the Veggie Burger, as I cant bring myself to buy it. Anyway I had 2 Great Whites, the flavor was awesome. Best burger I have ever tasted. And the best thing is the peace of mind you are eating the highest quality food, as you see the chefs make the burger patties in front of you.

Now though my staple when I go Aussie is the Hogg Boss and a Chicken Tender wrap, and if I am starving I may get a portion of chicken tenders or wings or some ribs. The bottom line is the place to quote my mate is 'its like heaven in a shop'.

And I can't wait to tackle the 45ounce steak challenge. Tried everything on the menu, so will have to train myself before I take on this steak

I called in after I was finished up in the gym next door heard from the lads at reception there that it was well worth a visit they were right.

I was told to have the hog boss sounds great whatever that is but after looking at the menu I had to have the Brizzy Burger which is a hot spicy kind of burger with jalapenos and chilli sauce but in a good way, it was massive too a half pound of beef but it was so nice. It was not crazy hot just enough but the mix of burger, spice and melted cheese was to die for. The thing that won me over though were the chips....good god they are hands down the nicest chips i have ever had. hand cut with the skin on. It reminded me of a place I ate chips in in Boston which I only remember because they were so good, well Aussie BBQ may have topped them. Ask for their garlic dip for your chips which the waiter (australian of course) advised me is freshly made, I could drink it it was so nice ;p You can clearly see the food is top qaulity too, the burger meat was gorgeous.

The decor is pretty cool, some awesome graffiti in the place and a clear aussie sports theme and big leather booths which are comfy. You can see its not fully finished yet there were signed jerseys sitting on the floor and other pictures and signs to go up. There were beers taps which were not working but looked like thay were just installed and also 2 big tvs so I guess live sports and beers is on its way, would love to watch some footy in there with a beer and brizzy burger, Honestly I cant wait to go back I may start going to the gym alot more just to do so ;P.

I popped into this place a few days ago to get a quick bite in the gorgeous summer weather (the five minutes it lasted) and I was blown away by how good it was! I got the Great White burger, which is pretty much the biggest monster of a burger I've ever seen. I can still feel it circling my heart, ready to strike at any second. You know the way the 1/4 Pounder burger is normally the big burger in any regular chipper? So a 1/2 Pounder of burger would be pretty filling, right? Well, this is a 1 Pound burger. Yep, four quarter pounders piled on top of each other, layered with four strips of cheese, four slices of bacon and then they somehow managed to squeeze some veg in there too! It was, frankly, obscene (and also one of the best burgers I've ever had).

If you don't want to be a monster and eat half a cow in one sitting, they have a selection of other delicious burgers, chips, chicken tenders and pulled pork sandwiches, so you'll be able to find something for everyone. I haven't tried their sit-in restaurant section yet, but their take-away stuff is beyond good. I can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely delicious food for a great price. They were cutting the chips fresh in front of me when I ordered them, and the hotdog ("Snagsdog") I got was huge, delicious, and came with a generous helping of fried onions too. Can't recommend this place enough, they've got a great selection of BBQ'd bugers, pulled pork sandwiches and chicken, so I'll definitely be popping back whenever I can to work my way through their menu.
