When Avoca came to Rathcoole first I was addicted to it, not a week went by where I didnt go down for lunch. I have since opened my eyes and see the food as it really is.
The salads are covered in oils and dressings. A little is nice but my plate had a puddle of oil on it. They also put ginger and other seasoning in the salads without having notes to state this.
I used to get their homemade soup but the last few times I went they had unothadox flavours which didn't go down very well.
Their bakery section is lovely. The pear scones are fantastic.
The last time I went I bought yogurt & granola for my mother. She told me when she opened it small black flies came out of the packaging.... I have not been down since.
