Lives 3.5 km from Baggot Cleaners

I despise this place - I was told by some of my local dry cleaners that I would have to take my faux fur coat to them, since they are apparently the only cleaners in Dublin who will do faux fur (can someone tell me why this is?).

When I brought the coat in and showed it to the staff she said she needed to see if they could do it or if they would need to send it on and she'd call me the next day, and after 3 WEEKS of me calling in and no one seeming to know what I was talking about someone answered and told me it was ready for pick up.

When I picked up the coat the small stain I had pointed out was exactly where it had been before, and my shopping list in the pocket still there. I pointed out I didn't think it had been cleaned so left it in again and said I would pick it up in another few days - I went in and found the same issue. The woman there told me it had been cleaned - and then proceeded to try and charge me roughly 5 times what I pay at my local cleaners for a coat. I asked her how I was meant to pay that amount when the stain was still there and the coat still smelled the same way it did before, she said I could leave it with them then. I basically had a hostage situation.

It's a recession - don't support businesses that take the piss.
