Not where you'd plan on spending a week off work, but....!

Seriously though, this is the best place to be if you find yourself in a bit of medical mayhem. Everything is processed so efficiently and quickly with young, expert staff who treat you very well indeed and always can take a few extra mins out for a chat no matter how busy they are.

Location of the hospital is fantastic seeing as it's just in Sandyford and with the new slip road by the Luas line now open, it takes most of the traffic away from the hospital / hotel intersection making accessibility much easier. Parking is a bit pricey, but worth it for its proximity and upkeep of the underground carpark that is shared with the Hotel itself.

Hospital rooms are more like a hotels and the food wasn't bad at all. Loving the dark wenge wood style doors and elephant grey tiles in the bathrooms. Three meals a day and a choice of starter, main course and desert, with afternoon tea available.

The nurses and staff don't seem to mind visitors too much and think visiting is up until 10pm which is very generous. Best to check before you do pop in, just in case.

Well done Beacon hospital and keep up the good work!
