Bits & Pizzas opened its doors for the first time in December 1987 and still under its original ownership, has thrived as a family-friendly local restaurant ever since. Using the freshest ingredients to produce simple honest food with no shortcuts (in full view of the diners), they pride themselves on the fact that they make all of their own dressings & desserts including homemade icecream, onsite

Have been here many times ,the food and staff is always great
Keep up the good work.
Ive been here a few times now and it never fails to impress. Each time it has me wanting to go back. The food is always great, I love how you can see it being prepared and then cooked. The staff are friendly and although they have a lot to do are so efficient and welcoming. I give this place top marks. It's fantastic if you want to pop in for something quick to eat at lunch or a relaxed evening meal either, both family friendly and a great place for a romantic date. The menu is varied enough for people who want something other than a pizza, and their specials are deliciously adventurous! Their food is served promptly and their prices are very reasonable (including the wine list!). I'd recommend it to everyone!
I think in the local area this restaurant is almost a place of legend. It's being going for 23 years - I remember it as a little fella - and not much other than the decor has changed. It's still owned by the same people - I think one works behind the counter at lunch - and follows the same format as it has since the beginning. The staff have all been friendly, attentive and efficient over the years which is a testament to the owners. The food is great. The pizzas aren't as authentically Italian as the ones found in Oliveto down the road, but (and I've given this alot of thought) I can't decide which I prefer. Both are top-notch in their own ways, so I'm going to have to alternate between the two. They have Italian beers (and wines) and the prices are pretty reasonable too....lots of come-back ability.

I started eating in Bits & Pizzas maybe twenty years ago. While the starters are nice (my favourites are the garlic mushrooms and caesar salad), the pizzas are the reason I come back, they are excellent, reasonably priced, and can also be ordered to take out. I hope that I'll still be coming back in twenty years time!
This is one of the best sit down or take away pizza restaurants around. The pizzas are the right size and always come straight out of the oven. Beer and wine if you want. Parking in the area can be an issue but you'll always find somewhere. Best to book in advance, the front window seats are the best in the house with a view of the oven and pizza chef. Good value, and they have yet to make a mistake with my order!
