Had an awful meal here a while ago. The service was indifferent, and the food was way overpriced for the standard served. Poorly cooked, overly fatty steak with a really bland bernaise...a complete disappointment. We didn't bother staying for desert.

I'm torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars.

I had an excellent 2 course (or was it 3?) lunch here a few weeks ago for something ridiculous like 19.95. I had venison suasage and I thought I might get one skinny little thing but I got two fine jumbos ones, with plenty of mash and veg.

The meal was excellent, finished off with good coffee.

What was the problem? Extremely salty... my colleague's food was also too salty for her taste. God help anyone eating here with a low salt requirement.

Perhaps I should have said something when we were leaving but I feared the possible rebuke ' What do you expect for 20 euro'.
