Today i bought a smoothie from 'Boost' in Dundrum. I handed in the 5 euro note that the lady had given me back in change 20 mins earlier and she refused to take it. At first i thought it was a counterfeit note and she informed me it was slightly more faded than other notes in her till. After a thouragh examination of the note she said that the fiver was ok and still refused to take it as she may get in trouble with the boss for taking a faded note. Seriously like, i was so embarassed as customers were staring at me, so definetly not impressed with the service. I understand the need to be cautious when handling counterfeit notes, but it turned out it wasnt and she still refused to accept it. To be quite honest there was eating and drinking in the smoothie and i was raging i didnt ask for the manager.
