Hi there, my name is Martina and I have just recently moved to Australia from Ireland .t Michael (Hatton) did such a great job looking after us and "Peppa" our three year old miniature schnauzer. Grateful for the help and assistance Michael gave us getting "Peppa" safely to Australia. We can recommend the clinic anytime. Martina and Dieter Pepping, Canberra

Honey is a happy, playful, young at heart 11 year old dog - with three legs.

Last Easter Sunday, Honey was completely lame in her front right leg. It came upon her almost immediately. On the Easter Monday, Anicare Glasnevin reviewed Honey and discovered a sizeable lump in her shoulder. Following x-rays and biopsy, it was diagnosed that Honey had cancer in the tissue in her shoulder. Unfortunately for Honey, the best and most promising course of action was to amputate her leg. We decided to call it her 'life saving operation' instead of an amputation. We were devastated for our much loved and adored family pet.

Anicare were extremely informative, thorough, and professional in how they dealt with Honey, and with me. Honey had her life saving operation on Friday 20th April - she walked back in through our hall door all by herself on Saturday 21st April. It was not easy to see what she had to go through, however, five months on and she is back to walking and running, her hair has grown back fully, and has a whole new fan club of admirers who stop to ask about her. It is no problem to Honey to sit and beg and offer her paw!

Honey's successful recovery is only as good as the wonderful care she received from all the team at Anicare in Glasnevin and Santry. There is always the fear of omitting a name of someone who was part of Honey's care that I may not have met face to face, therefore to all the team collectively, we thank you. Special thanks to Sarah in Glasnevin for her speed of action and depth of knowledge when she first assessed Honey. To Kieran for his expertise and ability in carrying out the operation, and to Faye for her unfailing upbeat cheerfulness. To Michael - I am so glad that my family and I attended your practice with family pets 20+ years ago when you started out in Glasnevin - your depth of experience and knowledge was of immense importance, comfort and value to us.

Ironically, Honey could not walk with the leg she had - she can now walk without it. Honey is our family pet, and having had this experience with her, I remain respectfully aware of how many lives are affected when cancer touches the lives of people and their loved ones.

Thank you Anicare for all that you do, and continue to do.
