It's located pretty conveniently on Wexford Street, so close by if you're on a night out or catching the Luas. Though the onetime I went here it took ages for them to make my burrito... it was good, but not worth the wait.
I've definitely had better burritos in my life; I suppose "okay" would be the best word to describe Burritos & Blues. They'll curb the craving if I'm desperate, and I admit that they are quick and convenient, but for the price I don't think it would be my first choice of burrito joints in the city.
Why? Firstly, they don't have barbacoa on the menu, which is disappointing but not the be-all and end-all. Secondly, the beans were more of a bean paste smeared on the tortilla than a hearty scoop of black or refried beans. Lastly, I'm not a huge fan of yellow rice, at least not after experiencing the cilantro/lime rice at Chipotle, and that forms the foundation of their burritos.
But hey, these are just my personal preferences. You may love 'em. Service was a bit slow though still friendly (it was during the dinner rush, after all), and the atmosphere was pleasant. Worth a visit overall.
With a definite nod to the Chipotle franchise in the US, albeit with slightly more meager portions, you can get a pretty tasty burrito here. Very handy when you need to grab something fast.
