Reviews for The 105 Café
Write a Review The 105 Café reviews feedMy friends and I were out for a meal in cafe 105 last night, the hospitality was excellant, the food was fantastic it was hot, cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a nice chilled restaurant in your area look no further then cafe 105, it has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and explain the menu in great detail.
I would highly reccomend this to all viewers, diners to take a look at cafe 105, to the critics i say "dont judge a book by its cover", this restaurant has something special about it, you pay the right price for atmosphere and good food and i certainly cant wait to dine here again in the near future,
Kind regards,
Helen Proctor

I have regularly passed by this place on my way from Ranelagh/C.centre lunch meetings - with the small bit of decent weather we actually had I was intrigued by their al fresco clientele. Naturally, I was curious to see what they had on offer so I made a quick visit last week. As I work in the area, I like to eat out on Friday's as much as I can and this place was a very pleasant surprise. It has a lovely ambiance, rustic in it's decor nature, and the service was excellent. Altogether a nice spot to break away from the office. I would agree with some of the reviewers on price... I thought€7.95 for a toasted Chicken & Goats Cheese (ciabata) sandwich was a little pricey - so that's my tuppence worth - pardon the pun! :).

Was delighted to see this coffee shop open, considering the dearth of options in Clonskeagh, and frankly it's nice to have to avoid the trip to Ranelagh every now and then.
Coffee is great (both for eat-in and take-away), and while lunch options were a little limited, the quality was reasonably good. Particularly like the decor and style of the cafe, tasteful but not pretentious. Not quite sure what other reviewers here were expecting - it's (fortunately) not Starbucks.
My only complaint is that some of the prices are still a little steep. In particular, €3 for a takeaway coffee in a suburb isn't really justifiable these days. But I would still go back, particularly if the lunch options improve.

I viewed previous reviews and booked on that basis, clearly scripted by the owners, a more honest approach would be nicer.
This area is a well to do commumity and easily could of done with a more upper class style cafe. But no , yet another small ,very small cafe, my quick nights out will still have to be spent in Ranelagh.
I had pizza and goats cheese starter, put it this way I will not be back. I will not comment on my partners.

i adore this new little neighbourhod family run cafe. the shabby chic interior is only fab and outdoor seating complete with pretty flowers and blankets to keep the chill at bay makes a not so scenic road pretty! ). Its a buzzy little place at the weekend serving all day brunch saturday and sunday and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner too tues thru sat.
It opens for 8 am weekdays ( handy for take away coffee on way to work !) and 10 am weekends. they serve everything from gourmet sandwiches to eat in or takeaway , woodfire pizza, a selection of specials and i hear are to add some more health conscious dishes to their menu
i enjoyed my pizza with a bottle of rose with a few friends. the staff are friendly althought at times service was slow but i guess all new places have teething problems so i wouldnt let this put me off. Went back for brunch at the weekend and had french toast and bacon ..yum yum ! they also stock Vit Hit my favourite drink so happy out !
will def be going back ...

I went there for dinner last friday, it was a lovely atmosphere, small but cosy. the service was good and attentive, i ordered the soup of the day and the vegetarian deluxe pizza which i'd seriously recommend. Very filling, but i would defo go back, it's local as well, walked home after a few glasses of wine

We went to cafe 105 today for lunch and I am very disappointed, I paid over 7 euro for a sandwich and it was just average, I said it to the waitress and no effort was made by way of an apology or reduction in price, we will not be going back again and I will inform my work colleague of my disappointment

I've been here for both lunch and dinner since it opened a few weeks ago and have yet to be disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely food and plenty of outdoor seating for all this sunshine ;)
I have eaten here for dinner twice since it's opened and once for lunch. The food is superb! I would highly recommend. I believe they have breakfast, lunch and dinner most days with wood fired pizzas also. And on weekends they do brunch and pizzas. I had the goat's cheese tartlet, steak and chocolate brownie on my first visit, desserts homemade! And the food is of a very high standard. Second time round I just had the pesto chicken pizza, which was divine. And only yesterday for lunch, I had the pesto chicken withgoat's cheese sandwich toasted on sour dough, again fantastic! Definitely worth a visit to this small quaint café with a lovely shabby chic decor. Great wine list too!
Dropped in here for a hot chocolate and it was lovely! Definitely one of the better ones I've had. I didn't have lots of experience with the staff, but they seemed pretty on top of things when I was in there. Maybe it was someone's first day when day was in, because they were fine for me.
Definitely worth popping into to check it out.

Went here yesterday, I think its only open a week, poor staff, you would swear its the first time they ran a restaurant.
My advice, keeping going to Ranelagh Village until they get busy.

Café 105 is a great little addition to this row of shops (which was starting to die a bit of a death before the bike shop and cafe 105 moved in). The coffee is good and my sandwich was excellent - but it was fried breaded chicken so it was always going to be tasty! They have seating out front which is great during good weather but they also provide rugs in case it's just the usual Irish weather when you're there. I was here for lunch but I believe it opens for dinner (and does pizza!) so will definitely be trying that soon.
