Café Azteca brings a taste of Mexico to Dublin - the Mexican people are very proud of having one of the best, healthiest and very extensive cuisines in the world. Family, friends, food and drink are at the very heart of Mexican society. The main factors that distinguish Mexicans. Ay Caramba!!!

I have just recently discovered this fab mexican cafe/restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible - i am half mexican, but have not lived there for quite some time but as everyone i long for some home cooking! And at Cafe Azteca that is exactly what i get. They have some food like sandwiches which is not traditionally mexican,(but delicious all the same) but you can add your own fillings for example chipotle chilli on your ham and cheese, or some other types of chilli. They do specials each week and this is where the real mexican food is - i've had pozole, which was exactly like you would find in Mexico, and mole - which in fact was better than i remember in Mexico!!(lo siento abue!) The staff and owner are mexican and you would know this even without asking because nobody could get the food soooo mexican! They also do quesadillas - the empanadas style is just a treat, and for breakfast i've eaten both the mexcian scrambled eggs with a homemade salsa to die for and the huevos revueltos. If i close my eyes i could be in mexico. There is a fun, relaxed ambiente and i always bump into someone that is fun to chat to. If i could change something - it would be the size of the cafe, bigger please!
