Came here regularly. Nice outside seating. Staff ok, friendly enough. However, went there today ordered a BLT and Spicy toast dish. After we had half the meal eaten we discovered with total disgust that the Spicy toast was actually MOLDY! unacceptable! Hope nobody of you guys has to experience that! Some of the Cafe's in Dublin are really shocking.... :(

Had lunch here today - a croissant with ham and Camembert and some cranberry sauce. It was good - full of taste. But I have a small gripe. The side salad that came with the delicious croissant was fresh and crunchy (good) but was laced with onions (bad). Not being a big fan of the onion family (i'm sure they're lovely people) I've been suffering their wrath all day. It's a personal thing so I'm sure other more normal people might find it quite nice but at almost €8 I expected perfection from the croissant and salad. The place is relaxed and they have a good selection of stickys to help wash down your coffee but their all day breakfast is only available on weekends and bank holidays, so pick your day...

Best thing about this place for me is the free wifi. If they had plugs for laptops, I'd probably stay there longer. Nice place to lounge around over delicious things.

The food is always good in Cafe Java, no matter where you go, but I don't think they've ever changed the menu! The service is good and there's a lovely bright seating area down the back that leads onto a little outdoor patio. Fresh sandwiches and salads at reasonable prices. They do a good resh fruit salad too.
