I was in Dublin for the weekend, decided to be brave and go for a budget haircut as trying to budget in these difficult times.I was pleasantly suprised to find hair salons open on a Sunday, very convenient.
I was very nervous, did research on the net and decided to visit Is Organic, but they did not open bang on half 10 as promised so I decided after a wait to try Christopher David up the road which I had not researched!
I chose a style after asking for magazines for pics to show what I wanted, we agreed on a style and I was sat in chair for the cut, I reminded the hairdresser that we had discussed a wash and cut, "oh yes i forgot".. I got more nervous.. I was given a complimentary coffee, and I attempted to relax. The wash was ok, no fancy head massage, a basic wash, the cut.. I had an oliveoil based spray put on, by the time I got home that night my family felt my hair looked greasy. I am actually pleased and relieved with the cut.
I had no idea I was going in to a salon ran by ladyboys, I was fine once I got a decent haircut for a decent price.20 euro, plus I tipped a fiver. A different experience for a girl up in Dublin from the countryside!
