Ah, the jewel of the Northside! Sure, it might be one of those plastic jewels you buy in Claires, or maybe one of those lolly-pop rings that you used to be able to buy in the 90s, but it's still a jewel! And since they've done up the main court of the area and put in new toilets it's not too bad at all. They even had the good sense to stop trying to charge people for the jacks, so improvements all round, really.
The only train station in the city centre that's served by the Luas (which connects it to HeustonStation, at last!), Connolly's the biggest station around and the only one where you have to spend time running from platform to platform, trying to catch trains, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you're trying to catch connections. Also: there's not much protection from the elements in winter, so wrap up warm!
