Just bought a camera here earlier today. It was only a second compact digital camera so I wasn't spending a huge amount. The man working there was helpful and knew a bit about the cameras. Conns didn't have a sale and the price on display was the best one they do (just their normal price, and even when asked), so I bought the camera thinking it was the best price available, only to see afterwards that I can get the same camera €30 less in another shop and €50 less online. My fault for not looking around as this shop is more expensive (overpriced!) than others. Go here if you want to pay more for no reason.

Conns advertised a camera online they didn't have. I paid fot it and received a purchase confirmation form letter.... A day later I sent an e mail asking when I'd receive delivery. No response. I called a half day later. They said they didn't have the camera and left me on hold. I ordered the camera from London instead, but Conn's had charged my credit card, so I couldn't get it in time for my daughter's birthday. As I write this review, I'm waiting for Conn's to remove the charges from my card so I can get my daughter a late birthday present.

Despite having read one or two not so good reviews on this shop I decided to see for myself. When I went into the shop I was greeted pleasantly even though I had a bicycle with me and they were very busy.

As for service it was extremely good, he was helpful and knew his cameras. Regarding price I was shopping around and they were equal to the nearest competitor for the brand I was after. He even threw in an 8GB memory card to sweeten the deal.

All in all, very happy WILL shop there again

This is definately my new favourite camera shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very good shop, little bit more expensive but generally very good service. I also particularly like their after sales service, including free sensor cleaning for DSLR cameras.

This is a very good shop. There are very often more staff in there then there are customers, simply because they have so many staff. Their knowledge of the products is great and very often if you are a bit cheeky and ask them what kind of deal will they do for you, they will throw in a little extra something.

They are up front about the fact that they are a little bit more expensive then the online services, but that is because they have a great after sales service and if something goes wrong you can walk back in and get it fixed.

They have new and second hand cameras, they do passport photos, and they develop and restore.
