I booked my car in to get valeted and serviced. When I came back from my trip the car wasn't exactly in valeted state - white traces of wax all around the car, door sills dirty and waxed over dirt, insects and tar were not removed from the front before applying the wax, the new canistre of oil, which I had in the boot was used to change the oil in the car, but I never asked to use my oil!
I got really annoyed about the state of the car. But the guy who was servicing it got annoyed even more at my just reaction. While he was removing the traces of wax he started slamming the doors with force, he even smashed one door at the wall. Once he finished he just walked away. His collegue had to pick up the unfinished work, he apologised alot for the other guy's behaviour. It took another 1.5 hours to remove the rest of wax from the car, and while he tried removing the insects and the tar from the front he applied compound liquid, after which circular scratches appeared on the bonnet. Now the paintwork needs reconditioning. Overall - extremely sloppy and uprofessional approach. I would never trust my car to 'crystalvalet' again and will spread the information to all my friends, so that they don't end-up with ruined cars like I did.
