Reviews for Cyclelogical
Write a Review Cyclelogical reviews feedFrom the time I ordered a bike, to the time it was disinterestedly handed over to me, some 7 months later, my experience with this shop and its staff was nothing short of total crop.
Since I had received a gift voucher for €500, the shop effectively had my money in their pocket. Hence they made no effort to provide the assistance that you’d normally get in any decent bike shop. I was made to feel like an unwelcome guest each time I called in to see how my order was progressing, and as they dragged out this process, by not following up on orders, or by getting delivery of the wrong bike, the experience got worse. If only I had a euro for each time I heard “it’ll be here in just under a week, or so”.
I eventually took to calling up the bike distributor, Trek Ireland, in order to get information on how my order was progressing. Even though this is not the way a customer should have to chase up an order, it was actually the distributor that was the helpful party, not the retailer. At one stage the shop manager took to shouting me down over the phone with a “Now you listen to me, buddy...”. This retailer now has the pleasure of reading this customer’s review. I hope this can be a learning experience for them. Had I been treated as a customer should have been, I’d be happy to sing their praises to one and all. Such will not be the case now.
So I finally took delivery of the bike, with barely an acknowledgement to the lassitude of their service over the intervening 7 months. The staff showed consummate skill in the art of displaying indifference to a customer. They have perfected the art of the glazed and disinterest look. At least they excelled in one area.
Conclusion: It’ll be a cold day in hades before I’m ever back in there again.
If you want to go to a really good bike shop, that really treats a customer good, my advice is to go to Joe Daly’s in Dundrum. Now, that where you’ll get real service.

Just a couple of days ago bought two chain locks for my bike. They had various selections and the price seemed normal. Helpful staff.
