First and foremost I would like to stress that I and my partner had an enjoyable meal at Darwins on Saturday 23rd May 2009. Unfortunately my partner felt extremely ill 3 hours later and spent that night/morning vomiting. She was bed ridden until 5 pm Sunday. It is now Wednesday and she still feels unwell.

While dinning at Darwins my partner had the soup of the day, the grilled seafood dish, a glass of coke and a glass of water. I had the fillet of bread with dips, fillet of Steak and two beers. We did enjoy the meal and if it were not for the my partner feeling ill for the next four days would have returned. The veg sides were excellent. Bill was €80 (€73 + € 7 tip) good value minus the apres vomit, i might post a tip 24 hours after just to be safe in furture.

Absolutely top notch. I had a meal here last year and I have to say I've every intention of returning. There were of us dining so we had a good sample of the menu and everything was tasty, well prepared and presented.

Our Aussie staff were quite amusing too.

Ate here last night. I've heard only good things about this place, so was happy to have a chance to try it for myself as someone's guest - perfect. Walked in with no booking and were seated straight away even though the place looked pretty packed. It's basically a good quality steak joint with some other things like sea bass on offer too. I went for the veal steak (i've got to clean up my morals) with a garnish of garlic king prawns. Sounded good on the menu and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed. It was prepared perfectly (slightly pink) and tasted just as you'd hope. The portions were generous and well presented. I have to say I found the staff to be perfectly fine, not overly friendly but appropriate. The one fault I could find with this place was that they only had Heineken on tap - as I was driving I'd have preferred a bottle (preferably of something else).

Ive been here once and I have to say its fantastic!brilliant food, i had a steak and its was one of the best ive had.very nice decor and a nice atmosphere.the staff arn't the best but the food makes up for it.would seriously recommend paying this place a visit!
