I can understand why some of the reviews below are a bit negative, but I love this place. They're not exactly the friendliest, it's true, but the service is really very good. There's nothing fake about the staff here, no pointless chit-chat or big smiles to get bigger tips, they just want to get your order and get it out to you as efficiently as possible.

More importantly, the food is really tasty and they have a really nice range of hot chocolates (and coffees, although my sweet tooth tends to win me over when I'm in there). Much more than your usual choice of "hot chocolate with or without marshmellows?" you can also get caramel or hazelnut hot chocolates, both of which are really tasty. The sandwiches and breakfasts are also very nice and filling, if a bit expensive, and they always have a lovely selection of tarts too.

I've been there a couple of times for an afternoon treat and I have to say that, despite the fact that the place is lovely, the food very nice, the service is terrible, very rude. They don't make you feel welcome there at all and you just feel like finishing your scone and run away to a better place. I'll go back there if all the others cafes in the area are closed.
