Pretty decent burgers, cheap enough too....describes itself as upmarket but doesn't compare that favourably with, say, the similar place opposite the RDS (Real Burger Company?). Still, a good option for an inexpensive, informal meal, and a welcome addition to any town I reckon.

While self described as upmarket and gourmet, the food there is anything but. Myself and a friend tried the "puy lentil burger", which sounded very tasty on the menu but consisted of curry paste slopped onto a burger bun with a few pulses thrown in. The chips were soggy and inedible; my guess is the chip fat oil hadn't been changed in a while. When it came to the coffee afterwards, the americano was served in an espresso sized portion and the latte was luke warm.

On the plus side, the burgers were very filling and the milkshake portions are generous.

Keywords: burgers, chips, fast food
