I spent a large part of my Sunday afternoon here, I went along with my voucher to buy a bike on the cycle to work scheme...simple you would think given that Halfords seem to be very involved with the scheme and I had already chosen the bike I wanted. The staff, while friendly were far from efficient and I was passed to about 4 different people to try and get my bike.

Overall a frustrating experience but I did manage to leave the shop with a bike which was looking touch and go for a while. So while I'm happy with the bike and the price I wouldn't be running back for the service.

This is a pretty good store for car bits and pieces. It's bigger than most other car accessory places on this side of the city. I can usually pick up whatever I'm looking for, although I wouldn't recommend the store-branded items. I bought some bulbs and a wiper blade which just didn't cut it. The blade I bought just seemed to spread the water evenly across the screen no matter which way I attached it to the wiper stalk and each of the bulbs only lasted a few months. So if there's another brand that does the same thing, go with that and you should be right....
