Went to the bar in this new hotel to watch a match at the weekend. I'm not sure too many people know that it's open again after the makeover, so it's a good spot to catch a game - not packed. It's had a major overhaul, so it's very different to it's previous guise - which is a good thing because it used to be a complete dive (although the Love-Boat disco downstairs had it's moments).

They have a few screens around the bar so you shouldn't have any issues with that. They're also good at bringing your pints down to you (I guess because they aren't ridiculously busy) - another good thing!

We had some food aswell (burgers) - pretty standard pub-fare, nothing exceptional - although somewhat rewarding after a few pints...

It's in easy walking distance of Baggot Street and Leeson Street if you want to keep your night going. I'd go back.

This is a really nice, small, newly done-up hotel. We found live Spanish guitar music in the bar on Friday nights and the place was really hopping. The food is very good and excellent value. I'm told the pints are very good too.

This place used to be called Sachs Hotel. Sachs was a landmark hotel but for all the wrong reasons - it was like a larger version of Fawlty Towers and the nightclub downstairs was like an episode of The Love Boat.... so you would think opening up a new hotel here would be like trying to remove a tattoo of your ex's name with soap and water but as far as I'm concerned Hampton's Hotel has done just that!

The hotel is a boutique hotel like The Dylan but without the pretense. The decor is very modern but not cold and the bar is atmospheric. The Guinness here is surprisingly good and I've heard that the bar food is excellent too.

The free wifi throughout the hotel is also another nice touch, definitely a four starer!

This place is pretty dead. It's been done up pretty nicely but needs to get the punters in to get a bit of an atmosphere.

Food is grand and price is reasonable enough.

Check it out after a Leinster game for it at its best!
