The staff at the Howth Tourist Office was extremely helpful and courteous. On the morning of 21 December, I was on a very compacted schedule, with my flight back home scheduled to depart in a few hours; the staff there (two very nice ladies) helped me plan which stop to exit the nearby DART train in order to catch the bus that would take me to the airport in time. And since I was traveling alone, one of the staff even volunteered to take a short walk with me to take my picture (with my camera) with the Irish Sea in the background - an offer I gladly accepted.

Keywords: train, bus, helpful

As a bit of a tourist to the area, I popped in here to grab a map and see what was going down. The office is cramped and you can barely move if there's more than three or four people in there. Other than that, there's all the usual stuff you'd find in a tourist office: maps, events guide, flyers, etc. I overheard a member of staff helping out an English couple and she seemed incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

...nice to be a tourist in your own town every now and again!
