Ticket retrieval was fine. The electricity stayed on for the duration of the movie. I got street parking, so that was good (and free). So far so good. My downfall came when I had the misfortune of sitting next to a pair of silver foxes that had decided to take their living-room conversation to the masses. Everyone has a snapping point. I now realise mine is 1hr 32mins of poeple talking in my ear at the cinema.

Handy for locals but definitely not an alternative for people with something closer. There are plenty of good restaurants up the road in DL proper, but nothing in the immediate vacinity to speak of. A very local cinema.... more at home in the 80/90s!

The power failed when I was here on Monday. Not only do they clearly not have some backup system in place but there was no member of staff to expain to customers whether the movies would complete their showings or not, if customers were getting a refund, or whether we should actually leave the building in order to comply with some fire procedure. Nothing.

Not quite as bad as the old cinema in Bray (now defunct), but getting there.
