Love this place! The food is amazing and the price is good! The portions are a good size and the staff are really friendly! You should book tho cause its always full!
Great little restaurant serving Lebanese food, it's BYOB so it's popular with groups. The coffee is a bit odd so I suggest you BYOC too!
A great place for groups big or small. Fantastic food and excellent value.
This is a great place for a group dinner - especially in these recessionary times! The food is tasty and cheap and best of all it's BYOB so it's a very affordable meal out. There's a really nice wine shop next door and a spar on the other side, so no need to carry your bottle of vino too far!
The hummus is really good and so is the moussaka. I've also gone to keshk for lunch and they do a good chicken ciabatta.
You need to book a table for a group in advance as it always seems to be fully booked.
We were visiting from Seattle WA USA, and wanted to find a greek salad. A little searching on Google plus a recommendation from our concierge led us to Keshk Cafe.
The reviews are right on. Excellent food, good portions, very tasty, and presented very well. The hummus was especially good, salad big and full of flavor, and our chicken kabob-like dish also good. The spicy potatoes or rice are great side dish choices. It was packed, we were lucky to arrive late, as a table was opening up.
Keshk is cozy, inexpensive and an amazing find.
Keshk Cafe is quite easy to miss on Upper Leeson Street, I'd passed it a hundred times before I noticed it. However, now I love it. It's a little bit more restaurant than cafe, and definitely a great spot for dinner. The food and service are always of a very high standard. One of the best things about it is, while they don't serve alcohol, there's no corkage on any drink you choose to bring yourself. And it's conveniently located next door to a good wine shop and a spar.
I only discovered this place recently and it was a great find. The lunch is very tasty, healthy and at a very affordable price. They will also give you lunch to go which is very handy when you are on the run. If you are in this area I would certainly check it out as I was delighted to have a new option for lunch time in the area.
