I went here for a special occasion and it really was a treat. The restaurant is very comfortable and has a nice atmosphere with a good buzz. There are a couple of booth type tables that I think I would ask for next time and private room where a couple were having their wedding reception! The food was excellent and due to a mix up with the desert orders we only ended up paying for half of it. Would definitely go back here again. The food is really impressive.
I've been a few times. The first time was by far the best. In fact it was so good I should never have returned because my expectations were so high.
We had the tasting menu that time (with wine) and each little course surpassed the previous one. It was almost orgasmic, if that's an allowable description.
We couldn't wait for an excuse to return and a few months later we found ourselves back there with another couple of foodies and we found ourselves eating expensive uneventful food.
Sometimes perfection cannot be repeated.
Great food, very attentive staff. The lunch menu is excellent and quite reasonably priced, dinner can be expensive but the food and service make it worthwhile.
