This might just be one of my favourite places to eat in Dublin. It's a bit of a trip for me to get out there, but it's worth it for the beer alone. the staff all know exactly what's on their menus and what kind of beer goes with what food. I had a 10 minute long conversation with one of the guys there about where I could find a really rare craft beer which they used to have , but don't stock any more. My partner nearly killed me because he just wanted to eat!

The food here is as good as their beers (or their whiskeys, which are also amazing! There's just pages and pages of them), I had a huge pot of mussels with a side of delicious chips, and I could barely finish them. There wasn't any room for dessert, but given how good the mains were, we had to try some. We got a brownie and some banana bread, and they were both utterly delicious!

Without any exageration whatsoever, the dinner I had in Mulligans was probably the nicest meal I've ever had in Dublin. Big portions of really hearty food cooked to perfection. I had Bangers and Mash, which you'd think would be pretty straight-forward, but between the nicest mash I've ever tasted, sausages which almost tasted floral with whatever herbs they had mixed in there, all served covered in a caramalised onion gravy. I'm starting to droll just thinking about it...

If you like your booze, their selection of beers and whiskey is second to none and the staff was just lovely. I really haven't got a bad thing to say about the place.
