The Liffey Ferry runs from Sir John Rogerson's Quay to North Wall Quay and is a stop gap until the new bridge is up and running. It's a big time saver but they'll happily charge you for the convenience of it - it's €2 one way and €3 return and being generous I would say you are in the boat for all of 30 seconds. That said there is a queue on both sides in the mornings to get on so it's a price people seem happy to pay. A handy service that runs from 7am to 7pm.
