It's the motherload of electronics! They've got a great mix of stuff that you really, really need mice, keyboards, hard drives, stuff like that) and things that you really, really want, but don't need in any way (USB turntables, walkie-talkies, metal detectors, and SO much more). They always have a great deal sitting in the window when you walk past, and I'd much rather play with the toys in there than anything Smyths next door would have! The prices tend to be pretty good too!

Keywords: cheap, great gear

This place is like a fairy wonderland for me. I'll generally go in for something pretty mundane, like cable ties, which I'll find in about five seconds flat and then spend the next half an hour in there drolling over smoke machines, USB-powered missiles and metal detectors.

It's not a huge store by any means, but they manage to fit an incredible amount of really useful things in there, and they often get the brands they stock just right. Whether you're looking for a new CCTV security system, the latest TomTom or a remote control helicopter, they'll be able to sort you out.
