I adore this place. I live locally, and visit quite a lot. The food is lovely, and the service is great. My only problem is that the menu's are quite restrictive, with not a lot of choice. However, I cant really complain as their is at least three dishs on each course that I personally really enjoy.
The early bird has some good offers too!

the main courses for the evening meals remind me of a dinner you would get in the 80's at home. one of the main courses consisted of a chicken fillet chucked onto naff mashed potato ( champ in restaurant jargon) with bisto gravy. another main course consisted of monkfish with god-awful caper-flavoured mush. dinner in my mams was much better than that. i wouldn't serve that muck to my kids, never mind paying customers. the early bird menu must be better than the evening menu.
if the previous 3 reviewers were referring to the evening menu, then they are very easily pleased or dont get out much (or both). whoever put the menu together is a chancer, thats for sure. i would do a much better job myself, and i'm not a chef!
