Great place for a nice mid week pint or for an adrenaline fuelled GAA match.

This place caters for GAA supporters from all over Ireland, and the place is at its best on match days.

The only issue I have had with this establishment is its lack of internet/Wi-Fi. Most pubs now have free wifi, however Meagher's was very slow in introducing this.

The pub has recently introduced free wifi, and this is one of the reasons why I'll be coming to Meagher's for my mid week liquid lunches!

Oh I forgot to mention that the bar tenders are extremely friendly and competent (even on the busiest of match days!, they seem to really value your custom.

The pub also has a racing club, whereby regular customers with an interest in horse racing can attend race meetings nationwide!

Also, the sports are always on the telly (the volume isn't too loud either...), & because of this and its close relationship with GAA fans, I suppose you could consider Meagher's a sports bar to a certain extent..............

One negative thing I must mention is that the gents toilets are sometimes not of a very high standard during match days (however due to the extremely large number of supporters, this is to be expected to an extent)

Overall, its a great pub/bar/eatery and I would highly recommend Meagher's for those who enjoy a quiet mid week drink, a fun fuelled weekend night out or as part of one's pre or post match ritual!
