Food is usually pretty good here and the 2 for 1 offer they have or the pizza and drink for €12.50 isn't bad. However, as has been said, the service is pitiful. The quieter the place is the longer you will wait strangely enough. Waited 50 minutes one lunchtime for our pizzas. Haven't been back since.

Keywords: slow, spicey, pizza

My daughter and I went here last night on our way to the Point. It wasn't yet full to capacity and so I expected to be fed in good time for a leisurely stroll to see our show. Our orders were taken within about 7 minutes of our arrival. Dough balls to share, a pizza, vegetarian cannelloni, a beer, a sprite and a jug of water. Nothing that would take more than 20 minutes to bring to the table.

Our drinks arrived while I was in the lady's room - Sprite at my seat and the beer in front of my 15 year old daughter. Duh. No sign of the water. The dough balls arrived promptly, but still no water. When our table was cleared I again asked for a jug of water. Eventually 2 glasses of water arrived.

We waited, and waited, and waited and no food. The waiter, when asked, promised we'd have it in 2 minutes. Ten minutes later my - now starving- daughter pointed out that we still had no food. I cornered another member of staff and at ten past seven our long awaited food arrived. The pizza was ridiculously short of cheese and the cannelloni was nothing to write home about. When the main course was delivered to the table I asked for the bill as I feared another 55 minute wait...

I am rarely so incensed by service (or lack of it in this case) that I withold a gratuity. But in this case I did. I think Milano's is cashing in on it's proximity to the Point. I would have been quicker standing outside the Restaurant and phoning for a 4 star pizza.
