After leaving university in search of adventure, Peter Boizot travelled – and ate! – his way around Europe on a shoestring budget. Inspired by the mouthwatering simplicity of the classic pizza he encountered on the road, Peter set out to reinvent the Italian pizzeria. Milano forms part of the Pizza Express group founded by Peter Boizot.

A little off the beaten track but if you fancy a Milano pizza, then this place is full of all the usual Milano goodness. I just grabbed a coffee so not a bad coffee option if you're not an insomnia or costa fan!

We went here on a Friday for lunch, nothing planned but the weather was poor and it looked nice. The decor is nice but very loud considering that it was more empty than full, so not a place for a quiet meal. Staff friendly and efficient. The food was ok, but nothing to recommend. You can get a better take away! The pizzas were ok but not as thin and crispy as they should have been, and then they went soggy.
My recommendation is to go to the other highly recommended pizza restaurant just up the road on Patrick's Street, not even a 5 minute walk.
