Sean and Kieran Murphy started Murphys Ice Cream in Dingle, Co. Kerry in 2000, with the goal of making the best ice cream in the world. We have won numerous awards and accolades, but what we're really interested in is exciting and delighting you, our customer. Each of our delicious ice creams is an attempt at perfection. We hope they will increase the brightness of your day.

They might not be the best ice cream in the entire city, I haven't been in each and every ice cream place around, but if you're looking for something that's definitely delicious and is bang in the middle of the city, you'll be hard pressed to find better than this. Try their sea salt ice cream, you won't regret it! (Unless you were once a mermaid, in which case it may stir the memory of the salty home you left behind... but for most of us it's just yummy!)
Really good ice-cream, can't fault them on that but SO pricey for what you get..... considering it was a €5 sorbet dessert to my dinner for a fiver i felt a little reluctant parting with my cash
Great spot in Temple bar and delicious ice cream and Irish owned just had some the weekend I will say thou its slightly over priced. For 2 small cones it was €7.
Other than that, it was good ice cream!

I stumbled upon these guys completely by accident & I’m so pleased I did... what a welcome addition to Temple Bar they are! (& in my humble opinion, a significant improvement on the previous offering from the same location. I have to say upon my recent visit I played it safe, opting for "Burnt Caramel", however I continue to remain intrigued by their Sea Salt & Guinness varieties. I hope to be sampling these delights shortly (Weather permitting!)
PS - Murphys Ice Cream are located in both Temple Bar & Wicklow Street!
