Nando's serve spicy cajun food. Choose from a choice of tangy and mildly marinated chicken dishes, or if you're feeling brave, opt for a dish marinated in their famous hot Peri-Peri sauce. They cater for vegetarians.

I hadn't been in a Nandos before last night and I loved it! Friendly staff, fast service and as many refills as you wanted on your soft drink.
The food was really nice too, it's all hearty kind of stuff: big bowls of mashed potatoes, whole chickens, corn on the cob, stuff like that. There's no needless flair or distracting garnish, you get what you pay for. I like how you order stuff too, the menu's very pick-and-mix, so you can have a little bit of everything you want. I had the quarter chicken with medium spice, corn on the cob and some chips and it was delicious! Not something you'd go out for every night, but if you're looking for a slightly unhealthy treat it's awesome!

I love it when I find somewhere in Dublin that's a little bit different, and there definitely aren't many places like Nandos. They do a really nice selection of food and while it's mostly chicken-based, they do cater for vegetarians too, so don't worry if you'd prefer chick peas to chicks. The food is Cajun and can be a little on the spicy side if you're not used to it, but it definitely makes a great change from the usual stuff you'll find in the city centre!
I know some of my friends have a love-hate relationship with this place, but everyone should go here at least once, just to experience it.
