Still lovely food but we changed table form upstairs to downstairs as upstairs was too noisy due to a big group with 'loud voices' .This turned out to be a big mistake as the only table was in front of the door which had a 'gale force level of breeze 'everytime it opened .To add to it a small child uncontolled by hism other ( 10 pm ) kept opening /closing the door .
I cannot still understand why doors that open directly into restaurants do not have another door or at least a heavy curtain ( normal throughout European Restaurants ) cannot be in place. Ouzos have space for both options at the entrance.

I'll give it a thumbs up.

The food was great and the service was excellent - no complaints. There were 5 of us at a table that was better suited to 4 but there was enough room. The upstairs was a little bit noisy, but a good buzz to it also (and not as noisy as Alexis in Dun Laoghaire).

Not the cheapest these days - dinner worked out about €52 per head and that was for 3 bottles of wine between the 5 of us and probably 2 courses each.

Oh, and the bread was nummmy.

I liked this place. The menu is broad, with steaks, fish and I think some pastas on offer. We dined upstairs which is smaller than the space downstairs but better because you have chairs (diner-style booths downstairs). The staff were all Europeans and very polite. Service was pretty good although the mains took a little longer than I thought they probably should. I had a steak with pepper sauce and some chips on the side - the steak was cooked and presentated well. I thought the prices were a bit steep but maybe that's something to do with the location (10oz dry-aged sirloin - €24) or maybe it's just me. Everybody enjoyed the meal - I'd go back again...
