Write a Review Passport Office reviews feedI have been there for couple hours with my little girl sometimes in february 2011,i dont know why we got lucky in passport office in same day we had done everything, and 10 days later i pick up her passport. Thanks for lady officers and her superviser.I have to say one think my Victoria is 8 an half month old and she has already two countries visited.Hope nothing gonna change til 2014 when is expiry passort.Good luck for all staff in Dublin passport office.-:)
My 'Express Passport' that I paid extra for is overdue and I work during the day. So I can't go there. When I ring up it says, there are a large number of callers ahead of you and therefore we cannot take your call, then the line hangs up.
The woman from the Department of Foreign Affairs even sounds unhelpful and seems to have a systematic list of questions to get you off the phone as quick as possible. Why is there a phone there if they are going to be unhelpful?
if the passport office staffs' grief is with their boss,ie the government, would they not take their action in a way that affects said government, rather than their customers?Rather than taking peoples' money (result: unhappy civilians)and giving them no passport, try giving the passports (result:happy civilians)and taking no money.I'd say there's a chance the government would suddenly find a solution.
Love this place. I was there last week and it was so good I stayed outside all day. Nice staff and the free coffee and sambos from the local hotel were the bis. Keep it up freeloaders.
I went to get passports renewed today - I only had to queue for 5 minutes - but came away without successfully submitting my application.
Clodagh was showing teeth in her photo - which is a no no, and my passport is slightly dog eared and delaminating - so I'm required to provide my birth cert - to prove I was born despite my well used passport I presume...
My advise is to give yourself plenty of time - and go in lighthearted, bring more documentation than you need and expect to need a return visit.
On the upside - i got a free zippa bag - like this one - http://www.mayfairstationers.co.uk/rapesco-zippi-p-9333.html
