My own hairdresser closed down so I tried the Red Apple, I did not have a recommendation so I got the Hairdresser that had the time to do a cut and blowdry. I was left waiting for over a half hour, got a brief consultation and then got the worst ever haircut and blowdry by a Junior. Had I of had a bag to put over my head to leave the Salon I would of used it. I got rushed and cut blow dry was done in a half hour as they were closing. I have just gotten my hair cut for the first time in months as I had to grow out the disaster and the hairdresser I go to now was saying I was literally butchered by a Junior who did not know what she was doing. I would never go back in fact I get shivers thinking about it and I would not recommend to anyone. It will take me months if not a year to get my hair back to what it should be. If I could rate zero start I would.

I have been going to Red Apple since it first opened in 1999. Whatever hairstylist you go to you can be guaranteed to come out more than satisfied. The salon is very comfortable, you are always offered a cup of tea/coffee and a magazine, the girls are all very friendly and depending on whether you want a stylist who is very creative and will give you something new and exciting or whether you're a control freak who wants exactly the style you have in your head you will find one to suit your needs. There is loads of parking outside and a nice new coffee shop next door where you can celebrate your new 'do!
