A group of us visited Riva on a Thursday evening before attending a show at the Grand Canal Theatre. The early bird options are priced at 19.95 for 2 courses and 24.95 for 3 courses. Due to time constraints we could only fit the 2 course option. I was pleasantly surprised by the ample portion sizes both for starter and main. The food was also really good. The service was not great which meant I had to eat my main course in about 5 minutes in order to make the show. Also when the bill arrived we were charged for a bottle rather than 2 glasses. I definately would go back though and would put the above detractions down to how busy it was on the night.

Keywords: good portions

Nice place and good food was a little quiet but to be expected in Hanover Quay on a Sunday. €35 for lunch x2 with drink and coffee not too expensive but free WIFI which is always good (the WEP key is their telephone number :-) )
