Reviews for Ross Hegarty Hair Studio
Write a Review Ross Hegarty Hair Studio reviews feedThis is my second review for this hairdressers as unfortunately it has rapidly gone downhill and I would like to warn the unsuspecting public. Ross Hegarty himself has gone to live abroad and has left this place to sink or swim. Speaking of sinks, the most uncomfortable in Ireland. The place is pretty manky and the staff smoke on the roof terrace and don't wash their hands before attending you after they've had their ciggies. I'm a smoker myself but I don't think this is very professional to be honest. Had cut and colour done here regularly while Ross was around but it's not great since he's left. If you want a mega cheap blow dry they do them for €10 now and they are very good. Maybe they should stick to just that!

This is a terrific local hair salon near Biaconi Pizza, conveniently located opposite the Ranelagh Luas Station. The salon is on the first floor in a lovely bright space with a great roof terrace to the rear. The whole effect is very unpretentious and the staff are well trained and very polite. The upsides are the oepning hours, from 8am Monday to Friday for early hair-dos, Nepresso coffee on tap & the cheapest blowdry in this part of town, only 20€ a pop, plus a loyalty card with a free blowdry after any 10 treatments. This place is a real find, I couldn't recommend it enough and I'm a blow dry queen. They also specialise in hair extensions for those of you who favour longer locks. The only downside are the sinks which are a bit uncomfortable unless you ask the stylist to lower it for you. Definitely worth a visit!
