Reviews for Scruffy Murphy's
Write a Review Scruffy Murphy's reviews feedI have to put my hand on my heart and say Scruffy's is my favourite pub in Dublin.
Tucked away from the madness, its the perfect place for a quiet pint midday or a lively "few" before the nightclub. I've been coming here for three years now and I always have a great time when I go back.
Staff are helpful and always up for the craic. And the drink isn't a mad price.
Probably one of the best pubs in Dublin
The staff and locals are very welcoming. You probably will find a mix and match of mid-aged locals, some professionals from the companies near the area and some random guy looking for a pint without stridences (that would be me). The perfect place for having a pint and talk about everything with everybody. I feel always welcomed there and I love the circular bar, the central feature.
They have an area upstairs where any party can be hosted.
Partly hidden in "Mount Street" is ideal for a pre-match because it is on the way to Aviva (Landsdowne Road) if coming from city center and probably the only one where you can actually ask for a pint and have it, without using your elbow.
