I used the 'Cycle Surgery' bike shop (that's part of Snow & Rock) yesterday to buy some new tyres for my bike. The dudes in the workshop were so helpful they even fitted the tyres for me - saving a few of my spoons at home from certain bend-age!

I was back in again this morning to get my hydraulic brakes bled so as you can tell I was pretty impressed with the place - according to their brochure they fix 99.9% of bike issues the same day - sweet!

The handy parking outside, in the Tesco Dundrum car park, means that it's really easy to throw your bike in the boot of your car and drop it off - just be careful you're not longer than an hour as the Tesco car park, unlike the other Dundrum Town Centre car parks, doesn't offer the '3 hours for €2' deal.

While this is probably a five star shop, I deducted a star as I feel the Cycle Surgery should be on the Ground Floor, I realise Mountain Bikers should have no problem carrying their bike up a stairs... it's just the pressure of everyone watching you that I can't handle!! ;)

There is LOTS of nice gear in here, quite pricey though!

This is an amazing shop if you are into skiing, snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking or anything outdoorsy really -this store has everything you will need. I already want everything in it. I can see a new ski jacket on the horizon. It is a great store, quite like 53 degrees north but I think maybe it is better and it is certainly a lot handier to get to. Check it out at the exit to the Tesco surface car park.
